Our Story
Born from a
real problem.
Growing up, fainting was something I learned to live with. It happened enough that I stopped being surprised by it — until adulthood, when it started happening more frequently and with less warning. The diagnosis was severe dehydration. Not occasional. Chronic, persistent, severe dehydration that my body had been quietly struggling with for years.
The solution seemed obvious. Electrolyte powders. Every wellness influencer, every sports nutritionist, every doctor pointed in the same direction. So I started researching — and the more I read, the more uncomfortable I became.
Most electrolyte drinks carry 500 to 1,000 milligrams of sodium per serving. Designed for athletes who sweat heavily for hours at a time. Not for women like me who simply needed to stay hydrated every single day. Long-term daily use of that much sodium puts real, documented strain on the kidneys. I was not solving a problem. I was trading one health risk for another.
I needed something that worked. Something I could take every morning without worrying about what it was quietly doing to my body over time. Something formulated with kidney health as a non-negotiable — not an afterthought.
That product did not exist. So I built it. Aura is the hydration drink I needed and could not find. And I made it for every woman who deserves better than having to choose between her hydration and her long-term health.
